- Mr. Ton That Dan from Hinh Nhi, brand name Lac Vien Thi. Born on February 28, 1871 in Lai The commune, Duong Anh canton, Phu Vinh district, Thua Thien district (now Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue), he was born in the Ton family Nguyen dynasty, a descendant of Cuong Duke Nguyen Phuc Tran, the third son of Lord Nguyen Phuc Tan, belongs to the fifth generation of the Ton That System. His father, Ton That Nhan, used to work as the Tri-future of Khoai Chau (Hung Yen), then held the position of State Counselor in Thanh Hoa Province.
- In 1890, he was admitted to Quoc Tu Giam to study.
- In 1897, participated in the incense exam in Thua Thien, passed the bachelor's degree. After that, he enrolled at Quoc Hoc Thuan Hoa School to learn French.
- In 1899, he took office as trio of Binh Khue district, Binh Dinh province. After that, he took office as a trio of Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province.
- In 1907, he was promoted to the Tri Palace of Dien Chau, Nghe An province.
- In 1910, promoted to Thua Thien Palace.
- In 1913, he executed a mission to assassinate a missionary in Quang Binh province.
- In 1916, he did the murder of Quang Nam porcelain.
- In 1917, became the father of Nghe An ambassador.
- In 1919, he became the Chief Ambassador of Binh Thuan.
- In 1920, became an infantry officer.
- In 1922, he was appointed as the Provincial Government of Binh Tri, the position of Governor General.
- In 1923, promoted to Governor General of An Tinh (Nghe An and Ha Tinh).
- In 1927, appointed as Senior Secretary of the Department of Criminal Justice, added to the Privy Council of the Great God. He was also assigned to concurrently hold the position of Ton Nhon in charge of the great minister (ie, the head of the agency managing all members of the Nguyen Dynasty's Royal Family).
- In 1929, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel, received the title of Senior Secretary of the Criminal Department, served in the Privy Council, and was exempted from concurrently holding the position of Regent and Regent.
- In 1930, he was awarded the rank of Colonel of the University.
- In March 1931, Ton That Dan led a delegation to France to visit King Bao Dai, who was studying abroad and attending a craft fair, as well as reporting on the domestic situation and observing France.
- On May 2, 1933, King Bao Dai reshuffled his cabinet, he retired with the title of Colonel of the University. On August 1, 1933, he was conferred the title of Pho Nhon male.
- In 1936, when he died, at the age of 66, he was posthumously awarded the title of Eastern Scholars.
- His works include the biography Lac Vien autobiography.

Ton Nu Ngoc Trai - or Nguyen Thi Ngoc Trai, writer, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Van Nghe newspaper. Her husband is Professor Nguyen Hong Phong, former Director of the Institute of Vietnamese History.
Ton Nu Thi Cung - wife of Professor Doctor Dang Van Ngu.
Ton Nu Ngoc Toan - or Nguyen Thi Ngoc Toan - Professor, Doctor of Military Medicine, rank of Colonel, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her husband is Lieutenant General Cao Van Khanh, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
- Grandchildren :
People's Artist Dang Nhat Minh - film director, son of Ms. Ton Nu Thi Cung and Doctor Dang Van Ngu.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Thi Bao Van - Deputy Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, Head of Molecular Biology Department of Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, son of Ms. Ngoc Toan and General Cao Van Khanh.
