Denver Welcomes Angkor: The Lost Empire of Cambodia:
The travelling exhibition, Angkor: The Lost Empire of Cambodia, is now open at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science in Denver, Colorado, in the mid-west of the United States. “We are honored to bring the story of Angkor to Denver,” said Dr. Michele Koons, director of Anthropology and curator of Archaeology at the museum. “This exhibition offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for guests to connect with one of the world’s most extraordinary ancient civilizations and to marvel at its stunning artistic, cultural and architectural legacy.” The exhibits total more than 120 exceptional Khmer works of art, and the visually stunning 3D IMAX film, Angkor: The Lost Empire of Cambodia, can also be seen in their Infinity Theater.
