📌Bon Om Touk - Second Day - The Khmer tradition of Sampeah Preah Khe (worshipping and offering to the full moon festival) and Ork Ambok (tasting new rice made) 🙏🏻❤️✨
The Khmer tradition, according to the Buddhist scriptures Version Sovannsam Jataka Pali, 1938 The Legend of the Moon Rabbit, Sasa-Bondit this meaningful legend has been ingrained in the minds of Cambodian Buddhists to the present day and has been associated with the belief in worshipping and offering to the full moon at midnight and being blessed by gods and goddesses everywhere to maintain peace and prosperity for oneself and one's family by doing it every year in the fall and according to the Khmer lunar calendar.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
On the occasion of the second day of the Bon Om Touk (worshipping and offering to the full moon festival), a holy day, let the Buddhist Cambodian people purify their hearts and have the four Brahma-viharas, or Four Immeasurable in their hearts forever.🥰
